Plan your visit
Personal attention for the journey through hair loss.
Led by owner Danielle Marzella in Wall Township, NJ, Transitions combines salon artistry with specialized non-surgical hair solutions for women and men.
Meet Danielle Marzella
Danielle’s history with Transitions began in September 1995, when she joined the original salon as a cosmetologist. Years later, when its owner planned to close, she bought the business and began building on its salon roots with a deeper focus on people experiencing hair loss.
In a 2015 interview with The Hair Society, Danielle explained why she pursued hair replacement: she wanted to help clients facing thinning and hair loss, and she saw a need for more thoughtful options for women as well as men. She sought education in non-surgical methods and learned how hairpieces are made, bringing that knowledge back to her work with clients.
Danielle described trust, realistic expectations, continuing education and a personal relationship as central to her approach. Those are useful questions to bring to any consultation: what fits your goals, how will it look and feel, and what care will it require over time?
Salon artistry with a specialty in hair loss.
Transitions grew from a hair salon into a studio where clients can explore cosmetic hair solutions alongside the craft of cutting, color, texture and styling. Danielle has described learning how hairpieces are constructed and seeking continuing education so she can understand the methods she offers, not simply present a product.
Today, the Wall Township studio presents options that include wigs, toppers and extensions, men’s hair systems, CRLAB CNC hair prosthetics and scalp-focused services. A private visit is the place to confirm current availability, compare what may fit your needs and discuss the upkeep involved.
Find the right coverage
Full or partial coverage, custom systems and other options have different strengths. The choice starts with your hair, goals and daily routine.
Make it feel like you
Color, density, texture, hairline and blending all affect the result. Salon experience helps turn a hair solution into a look you can wear comfortably.
Understand the upkeep
Ask about fitting, cleaning, maintenance appointments and replacement before deciding. Ongoing care is part of the investment.
A thoughtful conversation. Clear options. Space to decide.
Ask what a solution involves before you make a commitment.

We can help you compare real options without guessing what you need from a webpage.
A hair-loss consultation should reduce pressure, not add to it.
Visitors should be able to understand the difference between cosmetic coverage and medical treatment, ask what a solution costs to maintain, see how the hair is constructed and attached, and leave without being pushed into a same-day decision.
